Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Day
This free event is open to intermediate to advanced high school student participation by nomination from a teacher or jazz director (students from all schools are welcome whether participating in the rest of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Festival or not). Students will have shown a motivation to continue playing jazz in college and might be considering majoring or minoring in music. Any students considering applying to Â鶹ÊÓƵ University are also encouraged to participate. Free lunch will be provided!

Schedule
This event will be held Saturday, February 20, 2027, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, concluding with a concert at 7:30 p.m. at the McCrary Theater (417 N. Williamson Ave, Â鶹ÊÓƵ, NC 27244).
Student Commitment
Students who register for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Jazz Day at no charge (including lunch!) must complete this page with the signature of a parent or guardian. This form acknowledges that both student and parent acknowledge their commitment to the student’s attendance that day. This commitment is essential because each of the specific Jazz Day combos’ personnel are assigned in advance of students’ arrival that morning: substitutes are not necessarily easily found, and we would like to correctly estimate the food cost.
