The professor of visual communication collaborated with scholars across the globe on a new publication that grew out of his research as a Center for Engaged Learning Scholar.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 9, 2026, for study spaces featuring adjustable sensory inputs made possible through a grant from the furniture manufacturer Steelcase.

This summer, the Center for Engaged Learning (CEL) welcomed scholars from around the world to Â鶹ÊÓƵ for a full season of collaborative research, including three weeklong Research Seminars and the annual Conference on Engaged Learning.  

The institutional repository will support a more centralized and accessible approach to preserving the university’s history, scholarship and teaching output. The system, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Collect, officially launched on Aug. 14.

Felten, executive director of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Center for Engaged Learning, discussed a new survey finding some student feel invisible or disconnected.
