The Winter Term program is the culminating project for the Class of 2018 Periclean Scholars, who spent two weeks in Cipulukusu in Zambia. 

Damon Duncan ’06 L’09, who graduated from Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a degree in communications before attending law school, becomes the first Â鶹ÊÓƵ Law alumnus to serve in such a leadership capacity for the North Carolina Bar Association.

Four members of Â鶹ÊÓƵ's faculty and staff along with 19 retiring employees were honored May 10 for excellence and service to Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Johanna Krygsman '17, a public health senior, will be the 6th Â鶹ÊÓƵ Postgraduate Fellow at CRHP India. She will spend one year supporting and learning from the coprehensive development nonprofit - the Comprehensive Rural Health Project - in Jamkhed India. 

Campus Compact has named Amy Belfer '19 a recipient of a Newman Civic Fellowship, which recognizes and supports community-oriented students and is named for Frank Newman, a founder of Campus Compact. 

Earlier this summer, Katherine Carter ’96 served as a contact for a group of Â鶹ÊÓƵ students visiting her adopted country, Namibia, embodying the saying ‘once an Â鶹ÊÓƵ student, always an Â鶹ÊÓƵ student.’
