Students in Michael Strickland's PWR 297 course worked with Smitty's Ice Cream to create a new chicken and waffles flavor for a research project.

Hayden McConnell '20 and Angela Myers '21, who are majoring in Professional Writing & Rhetoric, attended the 5th Annual Naylor Workshop for Undergraduate Research in Writing Studies held Sept. 27-29, 2019, at York College of Pennsylvania.

An English major studies representations of adolescent power in young adult literature, a genre for and about adolescents but written almost exclusively by adults.

The university's top undergraduate research award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achivements.

The event will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, in Lakeside meeting rooms from 4:15 to 6:30 p.m. 

The Austin, Texas conference provided an opportunity for Â鶹ÊÓƵ to share about its Design Thinking Studio in Social Innovation, a 16-credit immersive semester program.
