John Varney '23 was diagnosed in 2017 with osteosarcoma, jeopardizing his chances of attending college. Two years later, he has begun a new journey at Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a new outlook on life.

More than 1,700 new Â鶹ÊÓƵ students celebrated the formal start of their academic year surrounded by friends and family members Under the Oaks.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff came together to continue a special tradition, College Coffee, on the first day of classes for the 2019-20 academic year.

In this edition of the #Â鶹ÊÓƵTBT series, we take a look at an old tradition on campus meant to promote school spirit and highlight the first-year students of Â鶹ÊÓƵ's past.

More than 1,700 new Â鶹ÊÓƵ students celebrated the formal start of their academic year surrounded by friends and family members Under the Oaks.

The roughly 1,675 members of the Class of 2023 were met by hundreds from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community to help them settle into their new homes and begin their academic careers at the university.

As the Class of 2023 prepares to move to campus Friday, we are taking a look back at what Move-In Day was like for Â鶹ÊÓƵ students and their families in 1986.

A section of East Haggard Avenue that runs through campus will be closed for move-in traffic only from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Read this note for a link to the Move-In Day map.
