The opening of Â鶹ÊÓƵ's new convocation center this fall signals a new era for the campus.

The 5,100-seat Schar Center is home to Â鶹ÊÓƵ's basketball and volleyball programs and opens this fall. 

The presentation highlighted the spring 2018 course that was designed to explore culture not only at the national level, but also at the team and individual person levels.

A member of the women’s cross country and track and field teams, Dellapa served with Habitat for Humanity in both North and South Carolina this spring and became the first student-athlete to complete a service-learning ELR workbook.

The 5,100-seat, 160,000-square-foot facility will provide a premier gathering space for major campus events and serve as the new home for Â鶹ÊÓƵ's basketball and volleyball programs when it opens this year.

The bronze and concrete sculpture was created by Burlington native Ed Walker with Carolina Bronze Sculpture of Seagrove.

Mark S. Jetton Jr. '06 L'09, a Charlotte criminal defense and personal injury attorney, is the first Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Â鶹ÊÓƵ Law alumnus selected to the board of judges, lawyers and business leaders who advise the university about the law school’s strategic growth.

The latest HERO Sports Preseason FCS Top-25 rankings announced Tuesday, June 12, has the Phoenix among the top teams in the country.
