The team of Mike Garland ’15 G’16 and Tyler Parrott ’15 G’16 prevailed against student groups from more than 20 universities. 

Fifty-three graduate students received their Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees Sunday in a ceremony that recognized School of Health Sciences Dean Elizabeth Rogers, whose retirement in May will come 20 years after she arrived at Â鶹ÊÓƵ to help create the physical therapy program.

A Dec. 11 program in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion marked the end of academic studies and the formal start of clinical education for members of the PA program's Class of 2017.

The music theatre alumnus will perform in "Legally Blonde: The Musical" for Norwegian Cruise Line and he encourages current students to "always strive to bring something different to the table."

The Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Lecture Series will bring speakers to campus to help educate the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community about healthy relationships and domestic violence.

More than 2,000 alumni and seniors will be honored on Dec. 3 during this year's Festival of Holiday Lights, which features singing of Christmas carols and luminarias, hot chocolate and cider, the lighting of a Hanukkah menorah, and a visit by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus.

The managing editor at KXAN in Austin, Texas, was recognized at the 13th annual Lone Star Emmy Awards Show for his in-depth program focused on women's health rights and abortion.

The short film, written and directed by Jordan Roman ’15, was recognized at the 13th International Student Film Festival Hollywood, a forum for student filmmakers to showcase their work.

Two major fall event dates have been confirmed. Family Weekend will be Sept. 30-Oct. 2 and Homecoming from Oct. 21-23, 2016.
