Â鶹ÊÓƵ supported a group of 20 staff members to participate in a transformative global experience during the Faculty Staff London Program 2024. They brought home new relationships and shared experiences that will enhance the student global experiences at Â鶹ÊÓƵ across multiple Â鶹ÊÓƵ departments.

A series of events coordinated by the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education will celebrate Black History Month at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley shared a message with the university community on Monday, Jan. 23, about operations and safety on campus during the break between Winter Term and Spring Semester that runs from Friday, Jan. 27, through Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Lemack, who has served as an adjunct faculty member with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ in Los Angeles Study USA program since 2010, will begin in the new role on Jan. 22.

Räisänen, who will join the university on Aug. 1, will develop and implement university-wide well-being initiatives in alignment with the goals of Boldly Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Student Employment at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Campus Recreation and Wellness fosters a community in which students are encouraged to apply knowledge from the classroom and develop a professional skillset.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ introduces a new platform to increase engagement in the classroom, during workshops and digitally. Poll Everywhere is now available for Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty, staff, and students to enhance presentations and create connections with a pilot program beginning during the spring semester.

McElderry, the dean of student inclusive excellence and an assistant professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, will become the first Â鶹ÊÓƵ staff member to be selected to lead the national association of student affairs professionals.

The changes will provide more flexibility for most student car owners as well as new parking capacity.
