Â鶹ÊÓƵ basketball celebrates 100 years, retires jerseys of Branson, Cole

Jesse Branson ’65 and Tommy Cole ’72 became the first Â鶹ÊÓƵ basketball players to have their jerseys retired during a halftime ceremony at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ vs. Appalachian State game on Saturday. The ceremony highlighted a weekend of events celebrating the 100th year of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s basketball program.

More than 100 Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni and parents from the Washington, D.C. area joined President Leo M. Lambert for a regional launch of Ever Â鶹ÊÓƵ: The Campaign for the Future of Our University on Nov. 19.
