Â鶹ÊÓƵ brings a new program to campus to help the university community connect with carpool partners.
Looking for a more affordable and sustainable way to get to campus? Â鶹ÊÓƵ is excited to announce a new partnership with CommuteNC, a platform that helps Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty, staff and students find potential carpool partners and make their commutes more sustainable. This new program replaces the previous Share the Ride NC program.
“CommuteNC is a wonderful addition to Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s sustainability efforts because it gives our community a practical way to make a difference in their daily lives. By connecting people who share similar commutes, we can help reduce transportation costs, lower emissions and build a stronger sense of community across campus,â€ said Kelly Harer, associate director of sustainability for education and outreach.
Create your Â鶹ÊÓƵ CommuteNC account by September 11 for a chance to win prizes, including a hammock or a $50 local restaurant gift card! Be sure to use your Â鶹ÊÓƵ email address when creating your account because Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s CommuteNC program is an Â鶹ÊÓƵ-specific network.
Want an extra chance to win? Refer another Â鶹ÊÓƵ employee or student! If they create a CommuteNC account by Sept. 11 and complete , you’ll receive an additional raffle entry.
