Holocaust survivor and Â鶹ÊÓƵ grandparent Nathan Spiewak will be visiting Â鶹ÊÓƵ on March 30 at McKinnon Hall.
Nathan Spiewak was a child when the Nazis invaded and occupied France. Not long thereafter, roundups of French Jews began, and he and his family were interned in the infamous Velodrome D’Hiver in dire and inhumane conditions.
After miraculously leaving the Vel D’Hiv, young Nathan was on the run fighting for his life.
Spiewak, a proud Â鶹ÊÓƵ grandparent of Adina Speak ’24, will be sharing his memories with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community on March 30 at 5 p.m. in McKinnon Hall in the Moseley Center.
The event is made possible by: Chabad Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Core Curriculum, Dept. of Political Science, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Hillel, Office of Cultural and Special Programs, Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life.
