Durice White '09, coordinator of alumni engagement for affinity programs, was named the African & African-American Studies at Â鶹ÊÓƵ (AAASE) Staff Person of the Year.
The award recognizes White’s “strong commitment to the study of black life and culture at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.” In the past year, White has worked extensively with the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Black Alumni Network, Black History Month, the African-American Wall of Fame induction, Martin Luther King, Jr. Beloved Community celebration programming and other events and activities.
