Â鶹ÊÓƵ

The 2010-2011 Faculty/Staff Campaign is under way. So far, more than 300 faculty and staff members have made gifts to the university to support the hallmarks of an Â鶹ÊÓƵ education, including excellent teaching and engaged learning programs, outstanding facilities and scholarships for students.

David Gergen, prominent political commentator, former presidential adviser and chair of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Law's advisory board, features a posting on his "David Gergen's Voice" blog about the revitalization of downtown Greensboro, N.C. The piece, by Gergen's son Christopher, describes the role that Â鶹ÊÓƵ Law and other foundation-supported initiatives have played in the city's economic transformation.

On October 18, Maggie Castor, a junior philosophy major, and Peter Felten, assistant provost for teaching and learning, along with Mark Meacham, a teacher at Williams High School in Burlington, presented an invited talk at the University of Glasgow.
