The inaugural exhibition in the new Â鶹ÊÓƵ West Gallery and Isabella Cannon Room will be unveiled during an opening reception from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11 at the recently renovated Â鶹ÊÓƵ West building. The exhibition will include recent work in a variety of media by members of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Art Department. The department relocated this summer to Â鶹ÊÓƵ West, at 406 W. Haggard Avenue in Â鶹ÊÓƵ, from its previous home in the Center for the Arts.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ West includes classrooms, a ceramics studio, a painting studio, a digital art studio and photo lab. The building’s two computer labs are equipped with the latest audio and video technology. Â鶹ÊÓƵ West also includes storage for library collections as well as music faculty offices.
The exhibition of faculty work, which is free and open to the public, will run through Oct. 5.
