As director of financial planning, Murphy will be responsible for Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s institutional, state and federal student financial aid programs. He will develop policies for awarding financial aid and ensure Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s compliance with state and federal aid statutory requirements.
“Â鶹ÊÓƵ is fortunate to have such a talented member of the current staff assume new responsibilities in so critical an area of the university,” says Susan Klopman, dean of admissions and financial planning. “Pat’s knowledge of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s financial and business operations has made this a smooth transition.”
Murphy has served as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s bursar since 1994. He streamlined Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s financial operations, computerized the office and implemented procedures which dramatically shortened the student registration process.
Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and an M.B.A. from Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
