WSOE 89.3FM “The ONLY Alternative” is seeking to fill the position of Webmaster. This is a paid position as member of WSOE’s executive staff. The person will begin working in the fall, however they will assume executive status upon their hiring.
Responsibilities:
– Daily maintenance of WSOE’s Web site www.theonlyalternative.com
– Manage posting of station information, updates, news, and photographs
– Design of internet graphics
– Maintain WSOE Webcast/Streaming
– Work under the marketing & PR manager to promote station and events
– Troubleshoot basic computer related problems at WSOE.
Requirements:
– Must be a full time student at 鶹Ƶ with a 2.0 GPA or better
– Knowledge and experience with Dreamweaver MX or newer
– Knowledge of HTML and FTP
– Knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop
– Minimum of 6 office hours per week at WSOE
– Web site creation and/or administration experience is required
– Knowledge of Flash, Fireworks, Java, etc. is a plus, however it is not required.
