Brief Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of International Business at Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Love School of Business, where I teach international business and strategic management. My approach to teaching emphasizes experiential learning and connecting theoretical frameworks with their practical application in business, drawing on my extensive professional experience managing complex projects, programs, and multidisciplinary teams. My commitment to teaching has been recognized with two teaching awards.
My research examines how businesses, from entrepreneurial ventures to multinational corporations, navigate the tradeoffs between financial and social/environmental value creation in pursuit of sustainable competitive advantage. My scholarship sits at the intersection of strategic management, entrepreneurship, international business, and innovation, with a central focus on business sustainability. I focus particularly on mission-driven firms, social enterprises, and organizations implementing corporate sustainability initiatives.
I have presented my research at leading academic conferences, including the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Strategic Management Society Conference, Eastern Academy of Management Conference, and Southern Management Association Conference.
